... without Burning Your List with Sales & Promo Spam!
... without Burning Your List with Sales & Promo Spam!
The traffic is coming in. People are subscribing. Some are buying.
But something’s not clicking... and you can feel something is off.
... your list is growing, but engagement’s not
... you’re sending campaigns, but it’s hit or miss
... and sales aren’t flatlining, but they’re not growing either.
You keep thinking, “We’re doing everything we’re supposed to, right?”
… you see clicks, but barely any checkouts
… you just ran a campaign that got 2 sales
… you’ve rewritten your welcome flow four times, and it’s still not clicking
… you check Klaviyo, saw 20% open rates then realized it actually said .20%
Soooo, why does it still feel off?
Opens are down, clicks feel random.
You're wondering if anyone’s even paying attention anymore.
You’re bleeding revenue… quietly.
If any of that hits a little too close to home, you’re not broken... well, your system is.
And if fixing it feels like a lot. Yes, because it is.
Not impossible. Just layered.
Because real email systems convert?
They’re built on insight, not more effort.
What if there’s a process, a literal system to turn those “leaks” into something redirecting?
A system built to re-engage the leads you’ve already earned… guiding them back to your brand, your message, and your world until they become loyal, lifelong buyers.
And it's not what you think.
Not more emails.
Not more automations.
And definitely not adding more ads!
You ready? Here is my AMC Closed Loop System.
If you try to speak to everyone, you end up speaking to no one.
Before you go and tell me you are already past the "audience research" phase, hear me out.
You’ve been splitting subscribers into “engaged” or “non-engaged,” tagging new customers, and calling it a day.
That’s not audience research. That is "sorting".
It’s not about labels. It’s about listening.
When was the last time you checked beyond open rate? When was the last time you read or replied to their messages?

And I get it... you might be thinking "we already segmented our list" or "Klaviyo already does this automatically".
One client I worked with had a decent open rate and a killer product. But sales were flatlining.
(beep! beep! my bad for truck-hit feeling...)
When everything looks “okay”? That’s usually the problem.
People were opening, some were clicking. But they weren’t clicking the right things.
And no one was sticking around. The product made sense.
The emails didn’t.
Recognize any of these?
“15g of protein, no sugar, clean label.”
But the subscribers came from a mom blog just wondering if it’s safe for kids.
“For men” vibe, leather, bold fonts, anti-aging serum.”
But most of the buyers? Their wives.
“Full-on wellness guru mode about gut health.”
But what pulled them in? A Reel about getting better sleep.
That message wasn’t off by a mile… it was off by a mindset.

Here's how I approach Step #1 - Audience…
Look at what they’re actually interacting with.
Sometimes the hero banner flops but the PS link is fire.
That’s a signal, NOT a failure.
Did they come from a Facebook Reel? Blog? YouTube review?
Match the messaging in their inbox to the message that brought them in.
People don’t convert in silos. They convert in storylines.
Stop tagging based on “product A vs. product B.”
Instead, bucket them by intent:
Browsing but cold?
Bought once but bounced?
Clicked three times and ghosted?
Intent tells you what kind of message they need next.

People do business with people, not companies.
But knowing and doing are two different things. Even with the right segments…
If you keep blasting out a message that still feels generic, cold, or salesy. Nothing will change.
You expect sales, but keep sending the same templated messages. That’s what’s insane!
Look, I’ve been guilty of it too.
We build the flow. We follow the best practices.
But somehow the emails feel like a template got pushed through a megaphone.
That’s exactly what your audience feels.
Yes, even if they don’t say it, they feel it.
And numbers don't lie!
You know what doesn’t feel like a conversation?
“Complete your purchase now and get 10% off!”
“This is your last chance before this deal expires!”
... and the best example?"
Hope this email finds you well?"
(like how this email finds me? haha!)
You’ve seen these a thousand times. So has your list.
When your emails start to sound like everyone else’s, you stop being heard.
🚫 Not because you're not trying…
🚫 But because you’re not connecting.

Use these approach instead for Step #2 - Message...
Enough with the over the top formality, especially if you don't speak that way.
The goal isn’t to impress, it’s to connect.
People don’t buy the product, they buy how they believe it will make them feel.
Security, ease, pride, joy, control. That’s what your emails should speak to.
Educate, entertain, or encourage... then, and only then, sell.
Treat every email as a conversation.
Offer how your product or service can actually help your subscribers.
People will forget what you said, what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.

Anyone can sell once. Few can bring people back.
Just because you read “Convert” doesn’t mean it’s time to sell.
The moment you finish audience research or dial in your message, you’re probably itching to hit send on the next promo.
Because hey, it’s “conversion,” right? Who doesn’t want to sell?
Let me show you the numbers. They don’t lie. 🤣

Let’s say you're on Klaviyo’s 5,000 profile plan...
... you’re paying $100/month
... you send 4 campaigns a month
... plus 3 flows per subscriber (welcome, abandon cart, post-purchase)
You’re easily hitting 50,000–70,000 emails a month.
Now ask yourself…
How Many Are Actually Buying?
... 5,000 subscribers
... 25% open rate = 1,250 opens
... 2% click-through = 25 clicks
... 3% conversion = barely 1 sale per campaign
That’s maybe 4–5 sales a month… on a list of 5,000.
(Yes, you read that right.)
If your product is $10, you’re making $40–$50/month...
... while paying $100/month just to send those emails.
Ohhhh, it Gets Worse…You’re not just overspending. You’re burning out your list!
What happens the more you push sales emails to an already tired audience?
Fewer people open.
More people unsubscribe.
People stop trusting you.
Sure, someone might say: “That’s just $720 a year. Not a big deal!”
But what if you scale?
At 10k profiles, that’s $1,800+ a year
At 20k profiles, $3,600+
You think you’re growing, but really... you’re paying more to be ignored.
No welcome flow, no abandon cart, no post-purchase sequence can fix a burnt-out list.
Not even the best discount can save you from a subscriber who’s emotionally checked out.
What more if they’ve never bought anything in the first place?
Conversion isn’t a CTA. It’s not a discount code.
It’s a system. A loop.
A way to reconnect, re-nurture, and re-align with the people already part of your brand.
To pull them back into a meaningful relationship, not just to buy...
But for them to believe in what you do.
That’s not a funnel. That’s a loop. And it’s how you stop losing buyers you already earned.

Try this Step #3 - Convert approach instead…
I can't stress it enough... don’t just sell harder but reconnect.
Mirror the energy, content, or tone from their original touchpoint, whether it was a Facebook Reel, a blog post, or a product review.
Not to repeat it… but to deepen it.
People remember how they found you—use that to keep the relationship going.
Opened three emails but didn’t click?
Clicked your CTA twice but didn’t buy?
That’s not failure, it’s hesitation.
And hesitation is where the opportunity lives.
Set up re-engagement flows based on behavior, not just demographics.
Because actions say more than segments ever will.
After the purchase, most brands disappear.
Show up with something they didn’t expect, but actually need:
... a quick video tip
... a “how to get the most from your product” email
... a personal story that reinforces the brand’s mission
Even a “this product might not be for you if…” email.
This isn’t just retention.
This is how you turn buyers into believers.

You’ve read this far. Great!
Means that I know you care.
You’re not just looking for better emails.
You’re building something worth coming back to.
But here’s the truth:
Most brands burn out their list chasing the wrong clicks.
And no “welcome flow” or discount code will fix a system that’s broken at the core.
The AMC Closed Loop changes that.
It’s not magic.
It’s just the right message, to the right people, in the right order, built for connection, not noise.
You could piece it together.
Or we could build it for you.
